Il CSI (Centro Sportivo Italiano) è un'associazione senza scopo di lucro, fondata sul volontariato, che promuove lo sport come momento di educazione, di crescita, di impegno e di aggregazione sociale, ispirandosi alla visione cristiana dell'uomo e della storia nel servizio alle persone e al territorio.
Tra le più antiche associazione di promozione sportiva del nostro Paese, il CSI risponde ad una domanda di sport non solo numerica ma qualificata sul piano culturale, umano e sociale.
Da sempre i giovani costituiscono il suo principale punto di riferimento, anche se le attività sportive promosse sono rivolte ad ogni fascia di età.
Educare attraverso lo sport è la mission del Centro Sportivo Italiano. Questo è ormai consolidato nella prassi e nella coscienza dell'associazione a tutti i livelli.
Lo sport inteso dal CSI può anche essere uno strumento di prevenzione verso alcune particolari patologie sociali quali la solitudine, le paure, i timori, i dubbi, le devianze dei più giovani.
Un'attività sportiva organizzata, continuativa, seria, promossa da educatori, allenatori, arbitri, dirigenti consapevoli del proprio "mandato" educativo, infatti, aiuta i giovani ad andare oltre, ad abbandonare gli egoismi e ad affrontare la strada della condivisione, della sperimentazione del limite, della conoscenza di sé. Proprio per questo, il CSI prevede un'articolazione della proposta sportiva nel rispetto delle età e dei bisogni di ciascun atleta, permettendogli in tal modo di scoprire il meglio di sé, di imparare a conoscere il proprio corpo, a valorizzarlo, a stimarlo.

CSI Latina
CSI (Italian Sports Center) is a nonprofit, volunteer-based association that promotes sport as a means of education, growth, commitment, and social integration.
It draws inspiration from the Christian vision of humanity and history in service to people and the community. One of the oldest sports promotion associations in our country, the CSI responds to a demand for sport that is not only numerical but also culturally, humanly, and socially qualified.
Young people have always been its primary focus, although the sports activities it promotes are aimed at all age groups. Education through sport is the mission of the Italian Sports Center. This is now consolidated in the association's practice and conscience at all levels.
Sport, as understood by the CSI, can also be a tool for preventing certain social pathologies such as loneliness, fears, anxieties, doubts, and deviance among young people. Organized, ongoing, and serious sports activity, promoted by educators, coaches, referees, and managers who are aware of their educational mission, helps young people to move beyond, abandon selfishness, and embark on the path of sharing, testing their limits, and gaining self-knowledge.
Precisely for this reason, the CSI (Italian Sports Center) provides a structured program of sports that respects the age and needs of each athlete, thus allowing them to discover the best of themselves, learn to understand, value, and appreciate their bodies.
