La Pallamano Poggibonsese è nata 21 anni fa come nuovo settore della Polisportiva UPP Unione Polisportiva Poggibonsese operativa dal 1975. In 20 anni  successi della Pallamano Poggibonsese sono stati tanti, molti Campionati Regionali sia maschili che femminili vinti, uno scudetto dell’Under 14 M nell’ A.S. 2012/13 fino all’arrivo della squadra in A2 già due anni fa e il ritorno  quest’anno dopo solo un anno in Serie B. Il tecnico Vincenzo Malatino è stato l’ arrivo importante dello scorso settembre,  ha gestito un Campionato perfetto senza nessuna sconfitta e con una Final Four che poteva rimettere in gioco tutto il lavoro fatto, fino all’ultima partita. Ma tutto è andato bene e il prossimo anno saremo in A2M. Ma Vincenzo, come  tecnico della Nazionale Italiana di Beach ha preteso e ottenuto entusiasmo anche per il Beach Handball e così è nata la Beach Handball Poggibonsese, bellissima parola anche perché siamo all’interno dell’Italia, a 100 km dal mare. Segno evidente di una volontà ostinata della Società a allargare i propri orizzonti.  La forma mentale e atletica c’è, sicuramente manca l’esperienza dei giocatori che verrà sopperita dall’esperienza del nostro Vincenzo. La volontà di vincere dando il massimo caratterizza da sempre tutto il gruppo, e anche al Campionato Italiano di Beach Hanball, nonché alla tappa EBT della Calise Cup ce la metteremo tutta.

A clear sign of a stubborn will of the Company to broaden its horizons. The mental and athletic form is there, certainly lacking the experience of the players that will be compensated by the experience of our Vincenzo. The best of winning by giving the maximum has always characterized the whole group, and even at the Italian Beach Hanball Championship, as well as at the stage of the Cup of the Chalice, we will do our best.
