The City of Gaeta, the Department of Sports, and Gaeta HAndball 1984 ASD, in collaboration with CUS Cassino and the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, are organizing the XXXVII CALISE MEMORIAL and the 25th Calise Cup, a stage of the European Beach Handball Championship (EBT - European Beach Handball Tour).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1 – REGISTRATION AND CATEGORIES

Registration for the tournament will be formalized by sending the following duly completed documents to calisecup@gmail.com:
• Letter of indemnity;
* Medical certificate for competitive activity
• Invoice of payment of the registration fee;
• Invoice of payment for any requested services (accommodation, transportation, meals, etc.);
• Completion of the registration, a Google form, which will be sent after invoice of the registration fee. Registration will be valid only upon payment of the fee.

1.2 - DEADLINES
Registrations must be submitted no later than Monday, June 1, 2026. Registrations submitted last and/or after this date may be rejected by the organization commettee.
1.3 - CATEGORIES AND REGISTRATION:
• SENIOR women / men
- €250 (two hundred and fifty) if registration is made before May 12, 2026;
- €300 (three hundred) if registration is made by Monday, June 1, 2026;
• YOUTH women / men
- €60: U18 (born 2008 and younger)
- €60: U16 (born 2010 and younger)
- €50: U14 (born 2012 and younger)
- Free U12/U10 (born 2014/2016 and younger)
A single group of players cannot participate in two categories (matches will not be moved).
Prices are per team.
The FIRST "CALISE CUP" BEACH HANDBALL CAMPUS will also be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Information will be sent directly to interested athletes and teams.
2 – EVENT FORMULA
2.1 - The rules of the IHF and the EBT Season 25/26 Regulations will be observed;
2.2 - Each participant is advised to bring identity card, should the officials request it;
2.3 - The rules and detailed program of the event will be announced after team registration;
2.4 - Each team will play a minimum of five matches;
2.5 - The preliminary round will take place from Friday, June 12th to Saturday, June 13th, 2026; the semifinals and finals will be held on Sunday, June 14th, 2026;
2.6 - Gaeta Handball 1984 reserves the right to communicate any changes to the
program and/or to reject the last registrations received by June 2, 2026,
in the event that space is exceeded;
2.7 - The organization is available to complete the program for teams
who wish to extend their stay by organizing friendly handball and beach handball matches.
3 - OFFICIALS
3.1 The matches will be officiated by referees from various nations, designated by the EHF and by the FIGH (italian handball game federation) refereeing sector;
3.2 Each foreign team may propose the participation of a referee. The proposal must be received by the organization by May 12, 2026 and must be accompanied by a photocopy of the referee's card validated by the respective Federation in 2025/26 and an identification document. The organizers reserve the right to decline registrations received last in the event of oversubscriptions.
4 – PARTIES
4.1 - Three free player's parties will be organized for all event participants.
5 – BEACH ACCESS
The organizers offer all teams free access to the fantastic beaches of Via Marina di Serapo. Each team will be assigned a specific beach resort, subject to availability with chairs and umbrellas for free.
6 – ACCOMMODATION IN GAETA
To facilitate your stay in Gaeta, the organizers offer the following options with the affiliated accommodations:
6.1 – ACCOMMODATION
B&B in hotels, B&B in apartments, and apartments;
• Double room: €50.00 until all available places are filled.
• Quadruple/quintuple room: from €45.00 until all available places are filled;

Teams wishing to make their own accommodation arrangements must indicate the address of their accommodation on the registration form.
7 - MEALS
7.1 - Morning breakfast (Italian) €12.00 per person for no. 4 breakfasts (including a drink and a dessert) from breakfast on the morning of June 12th to breakfast on the morning of June 14th;
7.2 - Packed Lunch €8. Each packed lunch will include: 1 filled sandwich - 1 piece of fruit - 1 bottle of water. The meal will be delivered directly to the fields. Packed lunches must be booked by 6:00 PM the day before to facilitate the organization in processing all requests. We are doing new partnerships for more meals, for example with pasta, burgers and other solutions, soon we will give more info about.
8 - TRANSFERS
To reach the city of Gaeta, in addition to your own transportation and public transport, the CALISE CUP staff is available to arrange private transportation (bus and/or car).
8.1 - To/from Rome Airport To/from Naples Airport (price based on the number of passengers)
8.2 - To/from Formia-Gaeta train station: €3.00 per person per trip (shuttle)
- Group of 8: € 15 per trip
- Group of 4: € 10 per trip
- 1 or 2 people: € 4 per person

9 - PLEASE NOTE
9.1 - Gaeta Handball 1984 reserves the right to communicate any changes to the program;
