Information Calise Cup 2026
The City of Gaeta, Department of Sports, and Gaeta Handball 1984 ASD, in collaboration with CUS Cassino and the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, organize the XXXVII CALISE MEMORIAL and the 25th Calise Cup, a stage of the European Beach Handball Championship (EBT – European Beach Handball Tour).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1 – REGISTRATION
Registration for the tournament will be formalized by sending the following duly completed documents to calisecup@gmail.com :

- Medical certificates or self-declaration stating that all the participants have medical certificates for competitive activity;
- Invoice of payment of the registration fee;
- Invoice of payment for any requested services (accommodation, transportation, meals, etc.);
and filling the on line registration form, accessible from https::/calisecup.com..

1.2 – DEADLINES AND REGISTARTION FEES
Registrations must be submitted no later than June 1st, 2026. Registrations submitted last and/or after this date may be rejected by the organization commettee.
1.3 – CATEGORIES AND REGISTRATION FEES:
- SENIOR TEAMS women / men
- € 250 (two hundred and fifty) if registration is made within May 12th, 2026;
- € 300 (three hundred) if registration is made within June 1st, 2026; the registration fee is reduced to € 250 (two hundred and fifty) for teams that already took part to the Calise Cup;
- € 50 (fifty) Veterans (over 35)
- YOUTH TEAMS women / men
- €60 (sixty): U18 (born 2008 and younger)
- €60 (sixty): U16 (born 2010 and younger)
- €50 (fifty) : U14 (born 2012 and younger)
- Free U12/U10 (born 2014/2016 and younger)
A single group of players cannot participate in two categories (matches will not be moved).
Prices are per team.
The First “CALISE CUP” BEACH HANDBALL CAMPUS will also be held onTBD. Information will be sent directly to interested athletes and teams.
2 – EVENT FORMULA
2.1 – The rules of the IHF and the EBT Season 25/26 Regulations will be observed;
2.2 – Each participant is advised to bring identity card, should the officials request it;
2.3 – The rules and detailed program of the event will be announced after team registration;
2.4 – Each team will play a minimum of five matches;
2.5 – The preliminary round will take place from Friday, June 12th to Saturday, June 13th, 2026; the semifinals and finals will be held on Sunday, June 14th, 2026;
2.6 – Gaeta Handball 1984 reserves the right to communicate any changes to the
program and/or to reject, by Jyne 2nd, 2026, the last registrations received;
2.7 – The organization is available to complete the program for teams
who wish to extend their stay by organizing friendly handball and beach handball matches.
3 – REFEREES
3.1 The matches will be officiated by referees from various nations, designated by the EHF and by the FIGH (italian handball game federation) refereeing sector;
3.2 Each foreign team may propose the participation of a referee. The proposal must be received by the organization by May 12, 2026 and must be accompanied by a photocopy of the referee’s card validated by the respective Federation in 2025/26 and an identification document. The organizers reserve the right to decline registrations received last in the event of oversubscriptions
4 – VARIOUS
4.1 Gaeta Handball 1984 reserves the right to communicate any changes to the
program ;
4.2 With reference to the number of participants, for each team a reduction of maximum5% is permitted;
